A culture like no other! Atlantic Bay is National Mortgage News' 2023 “#1 Best Large Mortgage Company To Work For.”
The rankings are in! Once again, National Mortgage News has named Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group® the #1 “Best Mortgage Company To Work For” in its Large Companies (500+ employees) category and #2 overall. For the second time in three years, the “award-winning and comprehensive digital resource serving the entire residential mortgage industry,” has awarded our team the #1 large company and #2 overall distinctions; we were privileged to have earned the same rankings in 2021.
Given today’s housing market, Atlantic Bay – and the other lenders who made this year’s list – know all too well of our industry’s hardships. But our people continue to make this team something we can all be proud to be a part of. “Since Brian [Holland] started this company, the people have always been more important than chasing the next dollar,” shared our Chief Operations Officer Chrissy Brown. “It’s not the award that makes us feel proud, it’s the simple fact that our employees took an anonymous survey and overwhelmingly said that they love where they work. You cannot have a good culture without good people. We are honored to work alongside some of the greatest humans in the industry.”
We know we have many of the best and brightest employees in the business under our umbrella! We’ve overcome so much over the past few months, but our entire team’s dedication to our core values of genuine care, inspiring growth, and having fun is the difference maker – just ask CEO Brian Holland!
“It is all about our people who live out our core values every day,” shared Brian. “Many companies hire good people, but the difference maker for Atlantic Bay is our focus on retaining and growing the talented people that we hire.” And the commitment to the core values hasn’t gone unnoticed.
After an extensive review of employee surveys (covering topics like leadership/planning, work environment, and overall engagement) and employer reports, Atlantic Bay earned its spot amongst some of the best lenders across the country.
So, what’s the rationale for such lofty praise? Well, one of our team members thinks it’s because of the more than 800 passionately positive people that call Atlantic Bay “home.”
Incredible! And Chrissy shared this story to demonstrate the “special sauce” that goes into making Atlantic Bay an industry-leading lender:
“Years ago, one of our amazing employees had a family tragedy. We knew she would be out for a while to focus on what matters in life: family. She supported a very large Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO), and that MLO called me when he heard the news. I immediately assured him his loans would be fine during her absence and nothing would fall through the cracks. He stopped me dead in my tracks to say he was not worried about his loans. He knew it would all work out. The only thing he cared about was whether she was okay and how he could support her during that time. That is Atlantic Bay.”
Well said, everyone! It takes an entire team effort to lend peace of mind to the home loan process day in and day out, let alone the last 26 years.
Since our inception in December 1996 by brothers Brian and Stan Holland, we’ve served our communities with great loan products, superior customer service, and proficient expertise. We’re a trusted lender, and we’ve stayed true to our core values throughout our more than 25 years of operation. As of March 2023, we’ve assisted more than 172,000 families in achieving their greatest homeownership dreams while earning a 96.26 customer satisfaction score.
But make no mistake, we’re not stopping to smell the roses yet! We’ll continue to hold our relationships, culture, commitment to the community, and credibility as our highest mission.
