Having worked in the real estate/mortgage industry since 2002, Gaylyn Johnson offers her clients solid product knowledge and dedication, helping them achieve their goal of homeownership. Her client base includes active and retired members of the military, first time home buyers, primary and secondary home buyers and investors.

When Gaylyn Johnson joined Atlantic Bay in 2011, she became part of her family’s legacy. Her three sisters also work at Atlantic Bay. Experienced in processing, closing and originating, she is very detailed and well organized, which allows her to easily stay on top of all phases of her client’s mortgage transactions. She says, “I keep both the borrowers and their agents up to date on how their loans are progressing throughout the process. It’s really step-by-step.”

Gaylyn says, “I explain the whole mortgage process to them, telling them what they can expect so if anything comes up, they will be prepared. I make sure they understand the process so there are no surprises at closing. I work hard to ensure my clients close on time.” She is always available to answer their questions. Gaylyn often works with people who have credit issues and explains what they need to do to improve their credit and position themselves to purchase a home. She says, “It could be six months from now or a year from now. I stay in touch every 30-45 days to follow up. What have you taken care of? Did you pay this item? Eventually they may qualify to buy a home.”

Gaylyn gives back to her community by volunteering with her son’s baseball team. She and her team support many fundraising projects for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) throughout the year.
