Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group® welcomes Producing Sales Manager Tanya Fuqua to the Greensboro, North Carolina branch location. Since the start of her career in 1996, she has built an impressive background with nearly 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Tanya worked at a finance company, moved to a bank, and then settled into her dream job when a friend told her about a job opening at a local mortgage broker shop.
Tanya says, “I get very passionate when I talk about my job because I love helping people. Guiding families through the purchase of their home is special to me. I grew up in a mobile home and was well into my twenties before I owned my first home. When I first went through the loan process, I almost drove my loan officer crazy - bless her heart. Although I was a loan officer at the time, I was aware of all the things that might go wrong at the last minute. Buying a home is a major decision, so I work hard to ensure my clients and real estate agents feel they are always in good hands, taken care of, and have fun during a time that could otherwise be stressful.”
She has helped more than 1,500 families move into the home of their dreams. Licensed in North Carolina, Tanya is excited to serve more of her neighbors in Alamance, Caswell, and Orange Counties. She is an active member of the Burlington Alamance County Association of REALTORS®. In her spare time, she relaxes with her high school sweetheart, Doug, their two daughters, Katlyn Michelle and Alexis Grace, her sister and assistant, Jennifer Scott, and two nieces, Hannah Mae and Taylor Rae. She enjoys reading and making time for her favorite thing in the world, going to the beach.
