Sheena has a natural way of developing lasting relationships with her clients. She says, “A lot of folks get into their life story. It’s interesting to hear people talk about what happened to their grandchild last week or that they’re buying a bigger house because they’re going to have family come over for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s nice to hear the background and the true specifics on what they’re trying to do.”
Sheena understands that first time homebuyers may feel uneasy and hesitate to ask questions. She says, “I stress that no question is a silly question. I relate their experience to when I bought my first home. I want my clients to really understand what they’re getting into and know exactly what the terms are so there are no unanswered questions afterwards. It’s nice to help people with something that’s such a big part of their life, obtaining their first home or building their first home. It’s something that’s really special to me.”
An active member of her community, Sheena volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and participates in charity runs to raise money for cancer.
