Senior Mortgage Banker Shannon Hodges started her career in the mortgage industry in 2007 instead of pursuing law school after college. Her earliest experience was in adapting the complex guidelines that were released during the recession into understandable company policies and consumer education materials. Her unique perspective and 13 years of experience have taught her the importance of looking ahead, analyzing various factors in the beginning of the process, and ensuring her clients are involved from start to finish.
Shannon says, “Whether I have a client buying their first house or their tenth, I always use the same approach. My goal is to take the Great and Powerful Oz feeling out of getting a mortgage. I want my clients to know that I am their advocate every step of the way, any question is a good question, and to trust that I have their best interest at heart.”
Licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, Shannon works with homebuyers from different backgrounds. She frequently assists military families and specializes in new construction homes. When she isn’t working hard to make her clients’ home buying dreams come true, Shannon enjoys photography, going to the beach in her hometown, Virginia Beach, practicing yoga, and relaxing with her husband, Mark, their son, Landon, and their two fur babies.
