Producing Sales Manager Rick Melville joins Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group® with 33 years of experience in the mortgage and finance industry. He has a strong background in treasury management and has worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 1994, he started helping homebuyers through the mortgage process, having to quickly learn the ins and outs to support his growing family. Since, he has helped more than 2,700 families move into their dream home.
Rick says, “What sets me apart is that I genuinely care to help people see that they really can achieve their homeownership dreams. With my knowledge, efficient processes, and expert operations team, my clients can experience an enjoyable mortgage journey. That’s always my goal. I focus on being proactive, thorough, and transparent every step of the way.”
He is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, primarily serving the Charlotte metropolitan area. Rick is on the Board of Managers for 24 Foundation, his favorite non-profit that raises money for cancer navigation and survivorship. He is a Business Network International founding chapter member and is involved with Business Leaders Unleashed. In his spare time, you can find him outdoors, mountain, road, or track biking, making beer, seeing live bands, and searching for the best $15 bottle of wine in the world. He enjoys family time with his wife of 30 years, Michele, two sons, Jake and Max, and boxer puppy, Bootsie.
