A little more about me.
I believe it is not what happens to you in life rather how you handle it, in being consistent and available, and that honesty is always the best policy!
When I bought my first home, I was put in a loan product that I never should have been in, but I didn’t know any better than blindly trusting my loan officer. It wasn’t until about a year later that I learned how bad of a situation I was put in. I literally almost lost my home because of how I was treated. Because of this, I especially love helping first time homebuyers… taking them under my wing and treating them as one of my children.
I have seven children and more than a dozen grandchildren, which means that countless milestones and memories take place in our home – our home is such an important place in our lives. I love that I have the honor of financing meals around dinner tables, family gatherings, and all these other memories that help my clients transform their house into a home!
And given my deep appreciation for the importance of home and family, how the next generation is shaped is incredibly important to me. For the past few years, I’ve grown my commitment to connecting with schools in our community to help students and staff achieve their goals.
That’s why I’m especially proud to be involved in the Atlantic Bay Works program. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help Bibb County School District educators experience the true joy of homeownership. By bridging my personal and professional life, I get to support and uplift our community in ways that truly matter.
