A little more about me.
I fell into the mortgage industry by chance in 2000 by way of a friend of a friend. At the time, I was attending UNC Charlotte with aspirations of being an English teacher. I took a chance, accepted the job, closed my first loan, and as they say – the rest is history. Mortgage is everything I love; teaching, helping others, and putting together pieces of a puzzle. I was hooked and never looked back.
Fast forward 22 years – it’s been a wild ride helping hundreds of families with their mortgage needs! Each client has been different, special, and most importantly, valued. I work to create an exceptional experience for my clients. It’s more than just a process for me; it’s an education of different loan options, determining long- and short-term goals, and creating trust and confidence with the biggest financial decision of a person’s life.
My goal is to build a lifelong relationship with my clients. I want to be the go-to lender when their children are ready to become homeowners, or when they’re ready to downsize or purchase an investment property or second home. I’m licensed in North Carolina and Virginia, and I specialize in first-time homebuying.
I’m the proud mama of Tucker, my 16-year-old dare devil, and Gemma, my 9-year-old with a heart of gold. My husband and I have been together for 26 years. In my spare time, you can find me at the gym, with my nose in a book, or learning the art of beekeeping.
