Senior Mortgage Banker Angela Whiteford touts an impressive 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She jumpstarted her career right out of college when she made a big move from North Carolina to Colorado. She began her career in operations ordering appraisals, quickly moved on working as a loan processor for many years and gained experience working in the closing department. She received her DE for FHA loans, spent time underwriting, and realized she was ready to help homebuyers in a new way. She has been a mortgage banker since 1999 and has helped countless families realize their homeownership dreams.
Angela says, “I love seeing the excitement of first-time homebuyers when we get to closing. I still remember buying my first home and how I could not wait to move in and make it my own. It’s rewarding helping all my clients achieve their homeownership dreams, whether it’s a move-up home because their families have grown or a downsize to better care for a loved one in their later stage of life. My clients often become my friends, and I want them to know that I listen and put their interests first always.”
She is licensed and serves all of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. In her spare time, Angela travels, works in her yard, reads, and relaxes at the lake or beach. She enjoys spending time with her children, Tanner and daughter-in-law Alyssa, who live in Colorado, and daughter Bailey, a senior at Appalachian State University.
