With more than ten years of industry and related field experience, I can’t wait to serve all of the Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee as their trusted Atlantic Bay Mortgage Banker. After working in finance and investments for several years and purchasing real estate as investments for myself and for a small corporation to either flip or use for long-term rentals, I transitioned to a full-time Mortgage Banker position during a gap while my children were little. I’ve pooled loans for resale, processed, and been a Loan Officer Assistant, but now I’ve found my calling as a Mortgage Banker.

I specialize in assisting real estate investors, as well as families looking to buy their first or dream home! One of my gifts is seeing finances’ big picture without forgetting the value of a home to a family. I feel like I’m smack dab in the sweet spot in my career because I can help families make a complex financial transaction, and at the same time, achieve a life-long mission.

After interacting and conversing with hundreds of families, I’ve learned the best thing I can offer to borrowers is an informed lending experience. One where I explain and simplify each stage of the process so they can avoid any stress or confusion. I also love thinking outside the box and capitalizing on different programs to get the payment structure that fits perfectly with each borrowers’ individual situation.

As for more about myself personally, I love being involved in community service in many different avenues because charity is a huge part of our family’s values. I’m an active member of Rotary International, Women in Business, and Charlotte Business. I spent years developing and leading mission trips.

I’m a newly single mom with six of the best kids ever! I have five teenagers, and one son in his mid-twenties living in Shanghai, China since graduating from college. I miss him desperately. My youngest three were adopted from China several years ago, and I can’t imagine my life now without their precious souls.

We are a team, but I’m overwhelmed with how these teenagers aren’t the stereotypical entitled young person that every parent fears. I have “mom guilt” along with the best of them, but seeing how they support me and each other every day makes me feel overwhelmingly blessed and hopeful that I’ve done something right!

Having a big family, I love spending time with everyone and making big family dinners. We love being outdoors, whether we’re on the water, traveling, hiking, or camping. Going on adventures are endlessly enjoyable, but we love hanging out together at home just as much.
