William Phillips has been in the banking and mortgage industries for over 14 years. He joined Atlantic Bay in 2013 as vice president of strategic growth for the Hampton Roads and the Richmond regions. His expertise in communication and identifying growth opportunities makes him a great resource for new mortgage bankers.
“It’s important for me to communicate our story to mortgage bankers from other companies and see if our model will work for them. It’s not a point of just bringing someone on board, it’s a point of bringing the right person on board, a person who can survive and excel in the way we do business,” William says.
“We give mortgage bankers the tools and confidence to be successful. We support them in every facet of the process, from marketing to processing to underwriting to closing the loans on time,” he says. “If bankers tell me the things that are important to them is making sure they have effective underwriting support, closing the loan by the contract date, having a good income and a good life style, and working for a company that believes in them – well, we can easily offer those things.”
In his free time, William volunteers with high school sports, speaks at nonprofit events, and is involved with supporting Alzheimer’s research.
